The Multilateral Approach to Emotional Intelligence (MAEI)™: An Introduction
The Multilateral Approach to Emotional Intelligence (MAEI)™ Model outlines how four distinct elements intersect seamlessly, creating a (w)holistic platform for the principles and practices to co-exist.
In this workshop we will cover:
Emotional Intelligence
Emotional intelligence (EI) is the ability to understand, use, and manage your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathise with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.
Cultural Intelligence
Cultural Intelligence (CI) is the ability to recognise and adapt to cultural differences. It can give you the confidence to operate successfully in a wide range of settings. Culture doesn't just refer to nationality, ethnicity or religion.
Spiritual
Intelligence
Spiritual Intelligence (SI) is aligned to an individual's values, beliefs and Faith journey; and are achieved in several ways like - behaving with wisdom and compassion whilst maintaining inner and outer peace (equanimity) regardless of the situation they are facing.
Emotional Resilience
Emotional Resilience (ER) is often described as a person's ability to adapt and bounce back when things are up against them and things may have gone awry.
